Many cards have an Ability that modifies ATK or DEF stats during battle. Ability level can be raised during the boosting process by using a base card with an ability. It should be noted that during the fusion process, the final card will have the ability level reset to 1.
Ability Level
Ability level can be increased by boosting with cards that also have abilities. When boosting, using more cards at the same time is cumulative. A typical rare card will have a 10% chance to be boosted per uncommon card with an ability. Using 10 uncommon cards with abilities at once to boost a rare card will often give you 100% chance to boost the ability level to level 2. Typically a SRare (level 1) or Rare (level 2) will gain 6% per card used and the next level will only gain a 4% chance per card used.
For most abilities, an increase in level raises its effectiveness by 1%. So increasing [Leopardess] Tigra's ability to level 2 will give a 3% gain to ATK or DEF instead of a 2% gain.
Intensity
- "Partially" intensifies or degrades stats - usually Uncommon base cards
- "Notably" intensifies or degrades stats - usually Rare base cards
- "Remarkably" intensifies or degrades stats - usually Special Rare base cards
- "Significantly" intensifies or degrades stats - usually Super Special Rare base cards
- "Extremely" intensifies or degrades stats - usually Ultimate Rare base cards
- "Extraordinarily" intensifies or degrades stats - usually Legendary base cards
